Established in May 2018, The Maggie Gallery, or "The Maggie" for short, is an elegant new full-service art gallery, gift shop, and custom picture framing shop located within one block of the stoplight in downtown Floyd Virginia. The gallery displays the artwork of dedicated artists and artisans to include many mediums from oils, acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, alcohol ink, handmade jewelry, pottery, and much, much more.
Renovation at the gallery location began in January of 2018, and the doors were opened to visitors in May 2018, many of whom had the same question: Who is Maggie? Maggie is not only the grandniece of gallery owners, Ron and Lenny Campbell, but also a beautiful young lady with a beautiful name, who graciously consented to allow her name and profile to represent the gallery.
Events such as "Art on the Lawn", "Art after Dark", and Featured Artist receptions will be held throughout the seasons to allow visitors to enjoy a fun afternoon or evening browsing the gallery, meeting the artists and other visitors, or watching demonstrations of the multifaceted talent represented at The Maggie.
The Maggie Gallery is a premier art gallery displaying exceptionally beautiful artwork and gift items created by a talented group of artists and artisans working in a variety of mediums. In addition, we provide professional full-service custom picture framing.
Please join us at the Maggie as we "Celebrate with Art" this Saturday July 27 at 1PM as artist Ron Campbell demonstrates the technique of creating art with a wood-burning tool.
We will be hosting activities every Saturday from July 27 - September 14 and would love to see you there! The upcoming schedule is:
