Jury Session- Fall 2025

’Round the Mountain is excited to announce the 2025 Fall Jury Session!

Active members whose work passes the jury process will be eligible to have their work for sale at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace.

Deadline to submit application and work is Monday, October 6, 2025, 5:00pm

● There is a non-refundable $10 application fee due for each application submitted. This fee must be delivered along with submitted works between September 22- October 6, 2025. Works must be submitted between 10am – 5:00pm and signed off with a Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace employee.

● Deadline to submit application and work is Monday, October 6, 2025, 5:00pm

● Jury Fee may be paid by cash, credit card, or checks payable to ‘Round the Mountain

● A completed jury application is required for EACH media and/or technique. You must bring the form completed and submit along with works between September 22- October 6, 2025. Works must be submitted and signed off to a Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace employee. For guidelines on what the jury considers, see the Jury Criteria below:

● Members must submit 5 individual pieces within each media and/or technique.

● All jury submissions must be delivered and be clearly labeled with artisan name and contact information.

● All applicants will be notified via email/call of their results following the jury process, and delivery of more work can be coordinated following this communication.

● At least three items submitted for the jury process must go into your starting inventory to be for sale at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace.

● If you do not pass this time, we encourage you to hone your craft and submit again in feature juries

● All juried items will be sold on consignment.

● Pricing – Keep in mind that the Friends of Southwest Virginia follows a 60/40 consignment agreement. 60% of the listed retail price will go back to the artist. (If you need help with pricing, we are happy to work with you to establish a solid price based on costing to make the item).

● Incomplete submission or failure to comply with all stipulations will lead to disqualification.
