Doug Branton
About
Doug Branton is the founding professor of the arts and crafts department at Southwest Virginia Community College where he taught for many years. A dedicated teacher and craftsman, Doug creates functional and purely aesthetic works in both leather and clay.
Working in all aspects of clay being functional and non-functional while combining the two in some projects. Experimenting with alternative firing techniques using local clay.
