Holston Mountain Artisans, formerly known as The Cave House Craft Shop, is the home to more than 100 of this area's most talented artisans. Founded in 1971, our non-profit co-operative continues to offer a wide selection of unique art and craftwork.
Our Artisan Shop is located in the two-story brick building that sits on the corner of Park Street and Court Street. This building was built in 1903 to serve as the first Washington County jail. The Artisans Annex (the white building behind the shop) is used for classes, demonstrations, events, and craft gatherings.
