About
Glen Thomason is a children’s book author whose storytelling roots trace back to his childhood in the coalfields, where adventures with his border collie Duke sparked a lifelong love of stories. A natural creative and motivator, Glen's diverse career included journalism, photography, and insurance, but it was telling bedtime stories to his daughters that inspired his writing journey. Encouraged by his wife Sherry, a first-grade teacher, Glen began sharing “Duke” stories in classrooms. Now the author of six books, Glen brings his tales to life through engaging school visits and heartfelt narratives grounded in real-life experiences and the value of community.
