I grew up in Marion, VA with 6 siblings and especially love Hungry Mother State Park which my dog and I hike every day. I have 2 children who I love dearly! I am retired from SWVMHI. I started painting because I took 1 painting class in college and dabbled with it every now and then throughout the years. My main medium is oil paint. I enjoy the challenge and creating a picture people like enough to hang on their wall. My favorite place to create is home. I also enjoy the great outdoors....stay busy with gardening, landscaping, bird and butterfly watching, especially from my porch. I enjoy playing my fiddle with my Old Time jamming friends at the Wayne Henderson School and various places. I have other interests and I'm always ready to learn news things. More than anything my faith in Jesus is the most important aspect of my life and is the key in how I think, feel, create, and love!
