Artist Note: My Art Studio and Custom Picture Framing shop is located on our farm, Dreamcatcher Meadows Farm, nestled on a hillside in Floyd County, 2700 feet above sea level. The farm represents the fulfillment of a dream of ours to live in a log home in the mountains of Virginia and to be surrounded by country living, farm animals, pets, wildlife, and friendly people. Dreamcatcher represents not only the achievement of a far reaching goal but it has also been a new beginning where I can concentrate on my artwork and full-service Custom Picture Framing services to clients near and far.

Ron's love of creating began in childhood and has continued to the present, combining a unique combination of skills that offers interesting and sometimes whimsical artwork in Pen and Ink, Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Wood, and more. In addition, he provides professional Custom Picture Framing at his Art and Framing studio at 104 Campbell Crossing NE in Floyd County, VA. Every framing project is always designed with an artist's eye. His framing experience spans 10+ years in Floyd and surrounding counties, most notably as the custom picture framer and previous owner of The Maggie Gallery up until September of 2021.
Ron is well known for scouring the back roads of Southwest Virginia to capture images of old barns and buildings that are slowly falling into disrepair and uses his talents in Pen and Ink to forever keep them alive. His pen has also become the tool of choice in creating his signature Tree Houses that depict the lives and loves of families near and far.
His colorful Acrylic and Oil paintings have caught moments in time such as an early evening sunset in the town of Floyd, colorful wash hanging from a rural clothes line, an old swinging bridge leading one to a hidden waterfall, and a dedicated Master Baker focused on his next creation.
And his woodworking creations are a thing of beauty: Handcrafted swings with detailed wood-burned scenes of farm life, mountain landscapes, wildlife, and instruments. Custom images are welcomed too!
