My name is Connor Patton, and I have been blade smithing/blacksmithing for around 10 years. I have lived in Southwest Virginia my whole life, growing up in Wythe County and currently residing in Smyth County. Blacksmithing has always intrigued me, using fire to turn metal into anything form tools to beautiful artwork. The idea of being able to make a tool, knife, or piece of art that someone can use and enjoy is one of my biggest inspirations in this craft. After years of practicing and teaching myself this trade, I decided the next step was to begin sharing my work with others that have a great appreciation for the art form. In 2024, I started my business, "Skull and Bones Forge" where I produce custom hand forged knives as well as other blacksmithing goods.
