About
Holston Mountain Artisans, formerly known as The Cave House Craft Shop, is the home to more than 100 of this area's most talented artisans. Founded in 1971, our non-profit co-operative continues to offer a wide selection of unique art and craftwork.
Our Artisan Shop is located in the two-story brick building that sits on the corner of Park Street and Court Street. This building was built in 1903 to serve as the first Washington County jail. The Artisans Annex (the white building behind the shop) is used for classes, demonstrations, events, and craft gatherings.

All donors receive V.I.P. ticket for early entry to the Swap.
Donations accepted at the Annex:
Tuesdays, September 3rd & 10th 12 – 4 pm
Thursdays, September 5th & 12th 12 – 4 pm
Saturday, September 7th from 10 am – 3 pm
Unclaimed items will be donated to charity.
Please bring your own bags to the Swap.
Suggested items for donation:
Fine art supplies: unopened paints, brushes, pastels, drawing pencils, art paper, etc.
Fabric arts: Fabric, yarn, buttons, knitting needles, crochet hooks, sewing notions, etc.
Scrap-booking materials, markers, stamps, stickers, card-stock
Jewelry cord and wire, beads, tools, other accessories; leather and woodworking tools and supplies
Clay, unpainted bisqueware, unopened glazes, Sculpey, unused craft kits
Please only bring quality supplies in good condition.
No spray paint, paint thinners, solvents or epoxies.
