From a young child, Bonnie has been a "Creative". Drawing and creating art for her has been a way of life, the way her mind interprets the world. She was blessed to have art instructors in High School who opened her mind to different forms of art and media. Bonnie however, pursued a corporate career path. After a successful career in IT Project Management, she retired in 2021 and was finally able to focus full time pursuing her lifelong dream of oil painting. She set out to teach herself how to paint just as the Plein air movement was experiencing a reawakening. There is nothing quite like being in nature looking at a beautiful scene and experiencing everything first hand. Bonnie belongs to a number of Plein air groups and gets outside to paint as much as she can. Recently having moved from coastal North Carolina, Bonnie and her family now call Abingdon, VA home where there is endless landscape inspiration. Bonnie's goal is to continue to grow as a painter and to bring the joy she sees in nature to others.

Amanda Lee of A Lady's Slipper Studio is a SWVA native and Wytheville based jewelry artist. Her resin work has been featured in Virginia Living, The Etsy Holiday Guide, as well as published in Jewelry Affaire and GreenCraft magazines. For the past several years, she has concentrated in silver and stone as a self-taught metalsmith. Amanda uses both sterling and fine silver in her work, and all of her stones are ethically sourced. Most of her inspiration is nature-based, and when she's not in her studio, or chasing around her 10 year old son, Amanda can usually be found roaming the hills and hollers of Appalachia, searching for native wildflowers.
